The proverbial dust around Big Billion Days sale has barely settled, and Flipkart is already gearing up to host its next big online sale. To make the most of the festive season, the e-commerce site has announced its ‘Big Diwali sale’ that kicks off next week on October 25, and will go on till October 28. To give an idea of what buyers can expect during the four-day sale, Flipkart has given a glimpse at some of the upcoming deals. Read on.
As far as smartphones are concerned, the recently launched Samsung Galaxy On Nxt will be going on sale exclusively via Flipkart from October 24. The smartphone was launched for Rs 18,490 , and Flipkart is promising a bunch of launch day offers. These include exchange bonuses up to Rs 15,000 that could potentially bring the price tag down to Rs 3,490. No cost EMIs on all credit cards, with EMIs starting from Rs 2,055 per month, and an additional 15 percent cashback for buyers using a Citibank credit or debit card. The Galaxy On Nxt comes with features like a 5.5-inch 1080p display, octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel selfie camera, and a 3,300mAh battery.
Between October 25 and 28, Xiaomi’s Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime will be going on sale every day at 12:00PM. The smartphones are priced at Rs 6,999 and Rs 8,999 respectively, and buyers will also be able to take advantage of exchange offers. Flipkart is offering up to Rs 5,000 exchange bonus on the Redmi 3S, and up to Rs 7,000 bonus on the Redmi 3S Prime. On exchange of select products, the price tags could come down to Rs 1,999 for both the devices. Flipkart, however, warns that stocks of the smartphones will be limited.
During the sale, Flipkart will also be offering exchange deals on other Xiaomi smartphones like the Mi 5 (up to Rs 18,300), the Mi 4 (up to Rs 8,000), the Mi 4i (up to Rs 10,000), Redmi Note 3 32GB (up to Rs 10,000), Redmi Note 3 16GB (up to Rs 8,000), and the Mi Max (up to Rs 12,000). Flipkart also has the Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 available for Rs 9,998 (Re 1 less than the launch price), along with a 15 percent cashback offer for Citibank card users.
While we are still a couple of days away from the Big Diwali Sale, Flipkart is currently hosting its TV and appliances festive sale that will go on till October 28. There are deals on offer on various televisions, and appliances like washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, and other widely used kitchen items. You could get a Micromax 40-inch 1080p LED TV or a Vu 40-inch 1080p LED TV for Rs 19,989 along with an exchange offer of up to Rs 10,000. A Samsung or LG HD Ready 32-inch LED TV is available for Rs 17,989 and Rs 17,489 with offers like No cost EMIs.
To make the sale even more enticing, Flipkart is offering an additional 15 percent cashback to buyers using a Citibank credit or debit card. The maximum cashback one can get is Rs 3,000. The e-commerce site is also offering buyers a chance to win Rs 1 lakh worth of gift card or 100 percent cashback every day. Other prizes include the chance to win an Apple iPhone 7 or a Moto E3 Power smartphone.
Flipkart is also currently hosting what it calls the ‘Cracker Quiz’, wherein it offers users a chance to win Rs 1,000 worth of gift cards every day. Users only need to solve four riddles, and Flipkart will choose from 20 winners who gave the right answers. This Cracker Quiz will be live till October 24.
Flipkart already had a hugely successful Big Billion Days sale earlier this month. In terms of numbers, it sold 15.5 million products during the five-day sale, marginally edging past its arch rival Amazon India, which managed to sell 15 million products. Flipkart said smartphone sales during this month’s sale saw a 5X rise, while the electronics category saw a 4X spike. On day one, the e-commerce giant managed to sell half-a-million products in less than an hour, and overall sales were 10 times more than any given day.
