New Year is just around the corner, and as we are all set to welcome 2017, Flipkart is giving buyers another reason to purchase a smartphone of their choice. Called ‘Best of 2016 smartphone sale,’ Flipkart is offering discounts on a range of affordable and premium smartphones. Axis Bank Buzz credit card users can get additional five percent discount, max up to Rs 200. What’s more, Citibank, HDFC bank, HSBC bank, ICICI bank, Kotak bank, IndusInd bank, Standard Chartered and State Bank of India credit card users can also avail no cost EMI to convert their big purchases into equated monthly installments. Let’s take a quick look at what’s on offer.
Flipkart is offering flat Rs 5,000 off on iPhone 7 , along with exchange discount of up to Rs 20,000. The iPhone 7 (32GB) will set you back by Rs 55,000, whereas the iPhone 7 (128GB) and iPhone 7 (256GB) variants will set you back by Rs 65,000 and Rs 75,000, respectively. On exchanging your old smartphone, you can get up to Rs 20,000 off, which can further bring down the cost of 32GB base variant to Rs 35,000. However, the final exchange value will be decided based on the make and model of your existing smartphone.
The iPhone 6 (16GB) gets flat Rs 3,000 off, and can be purchased for Rs 33,900. Exchange offer with maximum discount of up to Rs 24,000 is also available. The iPhone 5s (16GB) is also on offer, priced at Rs 19,999 and exchange discount of up to Rs 15,000 is also available. Flipkart is also offering up to Rs 20,000 exchange discount on Google Pixel , and an additional flat Rs 8,000 cashback on using ICICI bank credit card. The cashback will be credited into the credit card before March 20, 2017. The Pixel (32GB) and (128GB) variants are priced at Rs 57,000 and Rs 66,000, respectively.
The Motorola Moto X Force with shatterproof display also gets a flat Rs 8,000 off, bringing the price of 64GB variant down to Rs 29,999. Additionally, buyers can also get up to Rs 22,000 off on exchanging their old smartphone. Similarly, the Nexus 6P Special Edition also gets flat Rs 7,000 off, bringing the price of 64GB storage variant to Rs 35,998. Additional Rs 20,000 discount can also be availed by exchanging your old smartphone.
Samsung’s Galaxy On Nxt gets a flat Rs 1,590 off, and can be purchased for Rs 16,900. Exchange offer with up to Rs 15,000 discount is also available. Similarly, the Galaxy J5 (2016) also gets Rs 1,300 off and is now available for Rs 11,990. Additional exchange discount of up to Rs 11,000 is also applicable.

Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 tablet gets a neat Rs 16,000 off, bringing its price down to Rs 73,990. Additionally, you can also exchange your old working laptop and get Rs 10,000 extra off, bringing the price down to Rs 63,990. The iPad Air 2 (32GB) Wi-Fi only model also gets Rs 2,000 flat discount, bringing its cost down to Rs 29,990. No cost EMI offers are also available.
