NEW DELHI: The first pictures of the yet-to-be-announced 4th-generation iPad mini have already surfaced online, according to a new report.
Alleged images and videos of the casing of Apple's next-generation mini tablet have been published on french website NoWhereElse.fr. The website has a good track record when it comes to Apple related leaks.
The case featured in the image sports a design similar to the recently-launched iPad Air 2. While the third-generation iPad mini was just the iPad mini 2 with touch id integration, the new design hints at a much thinner form factor.
Just like the iPad Air 2, the purported iPad mini 4 case doesn't feature a mute/rotation-lock switch and has a single row of holes in the speaker grill instead of two.

The casing in the leaked images is of the cellular model as it features an antenna cut-out and a sim-card slot at the right edge.
