Ericsson has said that it is set to further scale up consumer additions for Reliance Jio Infocomm after helping the new entrant onboard nearly a million subscribers a day as part of the telecom gear maker’s largest ever operations and business support solution deployments worldwide.
“The OSS suite that we have deployed with RJio has already set a world record of processing in excess of a million orders a day,” Ekow Nelson, region head-IT & cloud at Ericsson India, told ET. “As Jio steps up its growth, we are working collaboratively on scaling these volumes manifold, well beyond what any operator is capable or has ever handled.”
