Ericsson in talks with Indian telcos for seamless migration to 5G

Ericsson said that it is in talks with Indian telecom operators to pilot its 5G ready solutions for their existing 4G networks.

Nitin Bansal, Head of Network Products, Ericsson India said that the talks are on with telcos so that there will be a seamless and cost efficient migration to 5G. Ericsson on Tuesday also launched several 5G ready Radio Solutions for the Indian market.

Ericsson to start 5G lab trials in India this year, in talks with telcos to deploy 5G plug-ins

We are planning to start lab trials this year in India. Then standard trials will happen in mid-2018, and from that time we will see a lot of activity in this field.
