This is a hoax, NASA's member views were wrongly interpreted :k

An entertainment news website, Huzlers, recently reported a confirmation from NASA about a total blackout on Earth for six days in December 2014, caused by a solar storm. According to the website’s reports, from the 16th December – 22nd December, the planet will remain without sunlight, as the dust and space debris of the solar storm would block 90 per cent of the sunlight.

However, everyone heaved a sigh of relief, when NASA’s official website revealed that no such information was released by them, and the news posted by Huzlers is fake.
Huzlers, the online entertainment website claims to be a satirical one, and asks its readers not to take them seriously.
Reports also noted, that the same hoax was once pulled off in 2012, when the world began to believe that the earth is coming to an end. The same trick has been rehashed and circulated around, creating a panic.
