DRS helps umpires make 98.5 percent correct decisions: David Richardson

David Richardson, the International Cricket Council chief executive, has thrown his weight behind the Decision Review System (DRS), pointing out that the umpires have been able to achieve a staggering accuracy of 98.5 percent.

"I am very proud of the Emirates Elite Panel of Match Officials and our targets for correct decision making this year currently stands at 94 percent rising to 98.5 per cent after DRS," he wrote for icc-cricket.com on Thursday (February 16).
