Why don't Indian Broadcasters (Disney Star, Sports 18, Jio Cinema etc) broadcast matches in 60 fps like FOX sports and Sky Sports? Is there any chance in future of getting 60 FPS cricket in India especially after the Reliance Disney merger, Cricket looks too good in 60 FPS. Last year Jio Cinema was streaming in 4K but that was a flop it was lagging whole season. They should try 60 fps instead of 4k this season. Cricket in 60 FPS>> Cricket in 4K

I never seen any live feeds in 4K with 50 fps...yup its avail in prime video but 1920×1080 50fps only...
If anyone have proof for 4k 50fps or 60fps cricket live feed then please post screenshot for proof..

tbh I don't care about 4k if it has 50/60 Fps. Full hd plus 60 fps is more than enough.

At least on TV, HD channels seem to be showing at a better FPS than regular SD channel. I would assume that’s 50fps.
Star broadcasts on 24 FPS. Please watch FOX sports broadcast you'll get to know how cricket in 60 FPS feels, it's pleasing.

SD yes. We can feel that.
HD I don’t think so. Although it’s lesser fps than fox for sure, but it’s definitely more than the SD version. Animations appear much smoother

Is there a clear explanation why we don't get Cricket at 50fps or 60fps?

Indian Broadcast network is limited to 24fps because of the archaic PAL video format or any other limitations?

It is because of Viewers only.

Indians cricket fans they never demanded with High priority. India hai comprises tho karna hai.

Star Sports is 50fps on DTH and Cable platforms since the day I started to watch cricket. Not sure why everyone is assuming cricket is not broadcast in 50fps in India. You folks never had cable or DTH? 50 vs 60fps is NTSC vs PAL thing. Some countries like US use 60fps.
