Device maker Coolpad on Wednesday said that it has started with the open sale for Coolpad Note 5 at Amazon where it has sold 25000 units so far. The phone is exclusively available on Amazon at Rs 10999 in variants of royal gold and space grey.
The company said that it will host its first FAN meet in Bengaluru on October 21. The company will also be giving away Note 5 to its loyal fans through playoffs, online games and contests on social media.
” Coolpad Note 5 at 10999 was among the most popular choice for smartphone buyers on the Amazon platform, which witnessed 25 K units disappear in a day, Note 5 is launched exclusively for the Indian customers, keeping in mind their preferences and what better occasion than Diwali to unleash “the beast” for our esteemed customers,” said Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India.
“ Note 5 is a successor to the popular Note series and we are confident that this smartphone will create great traction for Coolpad India as well as set new benchmarks in the smartphone industry, the 1 one million fans mark gives Coolpad the right impetus of going from strength to strength ,” he added.
Coolpad Note 5 features a 5.5 inch display, 4GB RAM and is powered by Qualcomm SD 617 Octacore processor. On storage front, the phone offers 32 GB ROM expandable up to 64 GB. The smartphone’s photography options include 8 MP front camera and 13 MP rear camera.
The device houses a 4010 mAh battery and runs Android 6.0.
