Celkon on Tuesday launched a new
budget Campus-series smartphone in
India, the Campus A518, priced at Rs.
4,500. The company confirmed that the
Celkon Campus A518 smartphone will be
available in India across retail stores;
though there is no word on whether the
smartphone will also be available online.
The dual-SIM based Campus A518 runs
Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It
comes with a 5-inch (480x854 pixels)
FWVGA IPS display. The smartphone is
powered by a 1GHz single-core processo
coupled with 512MB of RAM.
It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage,
which is further expandable via microSD
card (up to 32GB). It sports a 3.2-
megapixel rear camera with LED flash,
while there is a secondary 1.3-megapixe
front-facing camera also on board. On
the connectivity front, the Celkon Campu
A518 offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi
802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetoot
options. The smartphone packs a
2000mAh battery. It measures
145x73x9.75mm; weighs 164 grams,
and will be available in White and Dark
Blue colours.

pipeline."
The domestic handset brand last month
launched the Millennia Q450 priced at R
4,799. For specifications, the Android
4.4.2 KitKat-based Millennia Q450
features dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support;
a 4.5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA IPS
display; a 1.3GHz quad-core processor;
512MB of RAM; 4GB of inbuilt storage
that's further expandable via microSD
card (up to 32GB); a 5-megapixel rear
camera with LED flash; a 2-megapixel
front-facing camera, and a 1800mAh
battery.
