Michael Vaughan, the former England
captain, will captain and coach the
Capricorn Commanders in the Masters
Champions League tournament that
will be played in the UAE from January
28th. Vaughan was picked by the
Commanders in the pre-auction bid for
the legends and was part of the
strategy unit for actor Sohail Khan co-
owned team during the auction
purchases as well. He will also act as
team director of the Capricorn
Commanders.
Vaughan will be joined by Usman
Afzaal, former England international,
as assistant coach for the tournament
which will take place from January 28
to February 13 at the Dubai and
Sharjah Cricket Stadiums. The
Capricorn Commanders will compete
with five other teams in the
tournament billed as the League of
the Extraordinary, as competing
squads have on their roster some of
the sports' most celebrated superstars.
