Discussion Cancelled Jio Gigafiber and took Hathway

Cancelled my jio gigafiber after commerical migration plan. Main reason for cancelling Jio fiber is price. When launching Jio they said user will get free channels 600+ for 699rs. Now there is no live TV channels. For 699rs + gst we get only 100 GB and 10mbps upload speed. For bronze plan user won't get live TV access. Ping is so high within India servers itself. Customer care service is really bad and worst experience for me.

So, I switched to Hathway broadband now paid 943 for 1000gb data 150mbps speed. Ping is better than Jio.
 
But problem with Hathway is being such a big company they still don't provide 5 GHz routers, the maximum speed on wifi remains limited to around 50 Mbps, even I am using the same plan.
 
Let us know your experience in getting the refund of deposit amount.

May be ur particular router is low speed router. There are many 2.4 ghz router with theoretical speed upto 300 mbps... 150mbps practical speed is not big deal.

Did I read it correctly that on 2.4ghz router you can achieve 150mbps speed ?
