Today Supreme court will pronounce its verdict on AGR dues.
1. Time schedule for straged payment for AGR dues of Vodafone Idea and Airtel.
If Court denies to give more time, then Vodafone Idea might collapse and other telcos will increase Mobile tariff.
2. Whether Jio will bear the RCom AGR dues of 26K crores for spectrum sharing & trading pact.
If Court asks Jio to pay the full or part of RCom dues, then Jio might increase Mobile data pack prices immediately.

Mobile tariffs are set to go up irrespective of the court's verdict. We will see 3 more rounds of tariff hikes ranging from 25 to 40% each in the next two years. Wired broadband prices will fall simultaneously to ensure that people shift the data heavy usage to wired connection while using wireless only for essential activities on the go.

Absolutely. Jio had already prepared the ground by reducing their JioFiber offering prices. We should be ready for those wireless data price hikes.

Spot on bro. Heavy users mostly include students and working people. Fiber in home would help solve their data needs. Most college students might get wifi in their campuses. Same for working people. Now, popular public places also offer free wifi. So they need mobile data only when they are in transit. Mobile data price hike is inevitable. Broadband prices will go down steeply in the next 2 years.

Yes bro. Rcom spectrum will be the most effected for today's judgement ie. either cancel license/spectrum or pay the AGR dues by Jio.
