Can we take online insurance for 2-wheelers? If yes, are they accepted by traffic police while checking for documents?

My wife has TVS Scooty Zest and it's insurance was pending for renewal on 17 January. I missed it and now I need to renew the insurance.

Can I opt for an online insurance for it?

Will I be able to renew it online every year?

Which is the best website for it recommended by everyone?
