Hi guys,

I wanted to add a SSD to my PC.

My system is powered by Intel core i5 processor 4th Gen..

Currently using WD Blue 500GB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6 Gb/s 16MB Cache 3.5 Inch

SSD Requirements:

Above 120 GB
Internal only
Any good, reputed brands - Preferred Samsung

-------------------

Please suggest from which sites it is safe to buy, so I can get genuine SSD.

I have checked AliExpress having some good discounts on Samsung SSD but at the same time some reviews claimed them to be fake or damaged ones.

Thanks

I said above 120 GB, means 250 GB and 500 GB SSDs will do.. :)

Hi bro,
Here is the link of ssd which am using for my pc since 6 months. I had purchased it for around 13k, but now its available at reduced cost. Performance is really good.

http://www.amazon.in/Kingston-SSDNow-UV400-SUV400S37-480G/dp/B01FJ4UM9A/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1482086292&sr=8-4&keywords=Kingston+ssd

Congrats bro.. seems lil high on cost but it's worth.

Thank you very much! :)

Yes bro, its costlier than Evo SSD models.. But 850 Pro uses MLC NAND and the 850 Evo uses TLC NAND.. Another difference is Pro comes with 10 years warranty while EVO 5 years.. The lifetime and maximum reading capacity also greater than other SSDs... So decided to go for it...

Waiting for it eagerly now... :sp
