What after 7 jan.. bsnl is truly doing something it does NOT have an assessment of. It seems trial and error method of plans. More like samsung phones, new phones almost every month.

BSNL to relaunch Rs 498 ‘truly unlimited’ 3G plan, new packs on Republic Day: Report

State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd will be relaunching its 14-day “truly unlimited” 3G plan as told by Chairman and Managing Director Anupam Shrivastava, RTN Asia reported.

BSNL is expected to launch more plans and packs on the Republic Day. The new launches will include unlimited packs with a duration of one or two days as well, stated the report.

Earlier, the plan offered unlimited 3G data at Rs 498 for a validity of 14 days . The plan which was introduced in early December was rolled back after a month, the speculated reason for which was higher-than-expected usage.

However, the plans offered by BSNL don’t stack up well against the plans offered by private telcos. Some of the recently launched packs offer unlimited calling and 3G/4G data with a validity of one month under Rs 500.

The only upside of choosing BSNL’s truly unlimited plan would be the unlimited 3G data that the telco is offering, however, the 14 days validity is a major drawback considering there’s no unlimited calling offered.
