CHENNAI: On Diwali, BSNL is offering 10% additional talktime from October 15 to October 31 on special tariff vouchers (STVs) of Rs 449, Rs 359, Rs 201 and Rs 159.
It has also launched new prepaid combo vouchers of smaller denominations with extra talktime and data as bonus from October 15 to October 31.
These vouchers are: Rs 13 (Rs 15 talktime and 10 MB data with a validity of two days), Rs 77 (Rs 80 talktime and 30 MB data with 10 days validity) and Rs 177 (Rs 180 talktime and 50 MB data with 15 days validity).
BSNL has launched four new double data STVs across the country, which have validity for a year. They are Rs 1,498 with data usage of 18 GB, Rs 2,798 with 36 MB data, Rs 3,998 with 60 GB data and Rs 4,498 with 80 GB data.
BSNL registered the highest growth rate in the country in providing new mobile connections in the month of July, according to a TRAI report dated October 7.
BSNL achieved a monthly growth rate of 1.32%, adding 11,74,732 lakh new mobile customers in July, said a release. The number of new customers was the highest among all operators, added the release.
