KOLKATA: A blast occurred at TMC
leader Buro Hansda's Birbhum
residence in which his wife died.
The blast occurred early morning on
Sunday at around 2:30 am
Birbhum's Ilambazar area.
Injured Buro Hansda has been
admitted to Burdwan Medical
College where his condition is stated
to be stable.
His wife Chunki Hansda died on the
spot.
Birbhum Superintendent of Police
Mukhesh Kumar said the incident
occurred at Buro Hansda's (45)
house at Bilati village around 3 AM.
The SP said Hansda had complained
to the police that some one had
hurled a bomb at his residence in
the early hours.
The police is trying to ascertain the
cause for the blast.
