BenQ has launched two eye care monitors – EW2440ZH, EW2750ZL – in 24-inch and 27-inch sizes respectively. The eye care monitors come with low blue light and Flicker Free technology at Rs 12,500 and Rs 17,500.

BenQ’s eye care monitors help reduce eye fatigue caused due to looking at the monitor for too long. Monitors emit blue light that can result in eyestrain and headaches after prolonged use.

BenQ EW2440ZH & EW2750ZL are equipped with AMVA+ (Advanced Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment ‘Plus’) panel. The eye-care monitors sport a full HD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and refresh rate at 60Hz.

Rajeev Singh, Managing Director, BenQ India said, “Now more than ever, we need technology that protects our eyes and takes our over-all screen viewing experience to the next level. BenQ’s Eye Care monitors offer pioneering ‘Low Blue Light’ technology and Flicker-free backlight, tailor made to protect our eyes and enhance our visual entertainment experience simultaneously.”

The monitors are built with four preset low blue light modes – multimedia, web-surfing, office and reading – to reduce blue light produced by all monitors. They also feature BenQ’s Flicker-free technology to eliminate flickering at all brightness levels. Both of the monitors sport viewing angle of 178 degrees.

Additionally, the BenQ monitors offer features like Super Resolution, Smart Focus and Cinema Mode. These support 2 HDMI 1.4 ports, VGA and 3.5mm headphone jack. The EW2750ZL monitor can be connected to a smartphone and the MHL connection ensures flawless streaming. It has built-in 2x2W speakers.
