Plz Explain in Short what happ in this story ..Sony put case on BCCI???.or BCCI put case on SPN

Sony has to pay an amount of ₹125 crore to BCCI. But Sony is insisting on studying the impact of the match fixing scandals that hit the IPL in 2013 and other factors. Also, Sony had first right to refusal on broadcast rights that was done by open tendering by the BCCI. So all these factors will be considered by SPN before paying to BCCI.

It is a tactic done by bcci for blacklisting SPN for bidding for India Cricket Media rights which is coming for auction in January. So that they'll have onlly Star Monopoly.

I know what BCCI is doing is wrong but deep down I am happy if Sony doesn't get Indian rights because they don't know how to present anything!!

Spending 43 crore per India match is not a small thing which anyone can afford
