Among those that have applied, easily L Sivaramakrishnan for me.

1. Appears to me that he has good knowledge of the game
2. Does lot of commentary - so watches lot of players
3. If selected, he'll be out of commentary box - personally I don't like his commentary

^True.Ideally a month break.. Is fair.. To recover from minor injuries and niggles.. But.. Money comes first for BCCI..

Too many matches with no breaks or preparation time in between to even prepare for foreign tours.

I don't agree.. BCCI should arrange more cricket match. There are plenty of young players wasting their talent on Ranji trophy and India A team. They should also get a chance in indian cricket team. And we also need two different captain in three format. So virat can take rest and other players also. We also have so many cricket grounds in several places in India.
