The Board of Control for Cricket in
India (BCCI) has been looking for a
successor to Duncan Fletcher, but
have not been able to find a right
person to take over as India's coach.
According to a report in MumbaiMirror,
the former India coach Kirsten has
revealed that he got a call from the
board inquiring about his interest to fill
up the vacant coach job.
"There have been one or two phone
calls but I was not in a position to make
those decision," Kirsten, told the
newspaper.

However, Kirsten denied to divulge
much of the details and said that he
feels honoured to be offered the job
again of a top international team. But
