BBM for Android tipped to launch Friday, exclusive to Samsung

For the few of you proudly awaiting for Blackberry‘s Messenger app for Android to arrive, we might have some good news. After seeing the app finally leak in the wild this morning we’re now starting to get tips and details regarding a potential release date. It looks like BBM for Android might finally launch on Friday.

Samsung Mobile’s Nigeria Twitter account confirmed that Samsung will have a 3 month exclusive on BlackBerry Messenger for Android. They also briefly mentioned it will be available “from Friday” which leads us to believe that will be the official launch date.

Speaking of BBM for Android, in case you didn’t notice the app leaked this afternoon. Sadly we still can’t use it, as it’s locked out for anyone except whitelisted special accounts. So it appears they are still running a few last minute tests, and then will launch it for Samsung devices.

This is good news for Samsung, and their users, but a Blackberry fail for the millions of other Android devices out and in the wild. Or billion, to be more precise.

Plz don't compare this useless apps with Bbm bcoz Bbm is the world leader when it comes to Best Social networking App or Service after Facebook and twitter. I am personally using Blackberry phones for years now and i think Bbm is the best Social App made till this date. But Blackberry's main problem are their Smart phones which are just like copy of Nokia Symbian Os very out dated. So finally i will get rid my Blackberry bold phone and go with Samsung S4 and it will be the best and deadly combination ever Best Screen with best OS with best Hardware and software and now with Best Social App ever made BBM what else would some one ask for :sp

Friday, Sept 20th, 7am EST: CRM messages sent out to pre-registrants
Friday, Sept 20th, 7am EST: Follow-up CRM message sent out after full App Store deployment
Saturday, Sept 21st: BBM on iOS becomes available 12:01am EST in local time zones.

Me too hav blackberry and I never satisfied with BBM, personally I feel whtsapp is much better than BBM.
