It's been years since Batista was last seen in a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) ring. Batista did return to the show between 2013-14 and performed as a heel after his babyface return failed.

For a brief period, he also teamed up with Triple H and Randy Orton, rolling back the years to form Evolution. They had a succesfull feud with the Shield back then but ultimately Evolution lost the battle.
