James Sutherland, Cricket Australia (CA) chief executive, is "confident" Australia's Test tour of Bangladesh in August will go ahead.
The tour is set to feature two Tests in Dhaka and Chittagong in late August pending final security approval. Sutherland said the series was likely to eventuate ending much conjecture.
"We're just working through all the details," Sutherland said. "I'm very pleased to be at a stage of really fine-tuning the detail - there are still some things that we need to work through just to lock down on security.
