Are there additional charges on Google Play billing?

Vi and Airtel supports carrier billing on Google Play since 2016. Earlier it was exclusive to postpaid users. Than it was expanded to prepaid users. Till date I couldn't figure whether there is additional charges on purchasing apps via our mobile operators. Can anyone please provide the details of the charges? It would be useful to users who has too much balance. They can use it to pay for subscriptions and buy apps.

I have no clue bro, I don't use either of these operators prepaid or postpaid connection and the payment method section doesn't show carrier billing option.

It is 16% convenience charge. Unless you want to burn the balance. I would ask you to avoid it as their is no waiver or refund on making transaction via pre-paid balance.
