This isn't for Satellite Internet, rather seems for Emergency SOS via Satellite like connecting with the emergency services under exceptional circumstances when no other means of reaching the emergency services are available.
Globalstar is Apple's Satellite Emergency Service provider.

This service is enabled only in few countries ad of now and comes with a subscription.
