As we are approaching closer to the grand Apple event slated f0r September 9, the more we hear about its upcoming iPhone 6s. The latest report talks about the iPhone 6s display that is said to come with next-gen Force Touch ability.

Citing sources familiar with the matter, a9To5Mac report states that the new pressure-sensitive display will be called 3D Touch Display.

The iPhone 6s display will now recognise not just taps and presses, but also deep press. That means it will come with three different types of input support, reportedly the reason why it is being called ‘3D’ display.

“While the MacBook trackpads and Apple Watch sense two levels of pressure, the differentiation between a tap and a press, the new iPhones will actually sense three levels of pressure: a tap, a press, and a deeper press,” the report explains.

This year, the Cupertino company is expected to launch the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus. The most recent report by The Independent now reveals that the upcoming iPhone 6s will carry a similar price tag as the current iPhone. This could disappoint many users who bought the iPhone 6 lately. Citing Techtastic, the report reveals that the 16GB iPhone 6s is likely to be priced at €699, 64GB at €799 and 128GB at €899. The Plus variant will cost €100 more for the same amount of storage space, adds the report.
