The wait is finally over, as right now, both the
new iPhones - iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are
up for pre-order with online retailer Flipkart.
While users can pre-order the phone
immediately, the phones will be delivered only
by October 17 or later.
As we have reported before the iPhone 6
starts at Rs 53,500 for the 16GB model, the
64GB model is for Rs 62,500 and the 128GB
model is for Rs 71,500.
The iPhone 6 Plus starts at Rs 62,500 for the
16GB version. The 64GB version costs Rs
71,500 and the 128GB version costs Rs 80,500.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus flaunt a
completely new design. Both are thinner than
previous iPhones and are amongst the thinnest
phones in the market. They are powered by
Apple's new 64-bit A8 dual-core chipset and
have 1GB of RAM.
The iPhone 6 has a 4.7-inch screen, while the
iPhone 6 Plus is by every metric a phablet with
its 5.5-inch screen. Both also have redesigned
8-megapixel cameras, with the 6 Plus even
adding optical image stabilisation.
