Apple adopts rupee pricing for App Store
Google Play Store has been pricing in rupee for long

Apple Inc today started billing app purchases from App Store in rupee. So far, the billing was being done in US dollars. Obviously, this move will benefit both app developers and users. There are a whole lot of app developers selling their wares on Apple's App Store.

Google Play Store, on the other hand, has been pricing in rupee for long. Rupee pricing is convenient for both buyers and sellers, making the transactions easier to make. Though customers will still continue to purchase apps through credit or debit card, they will save on the forex conversion cost of 2-3%.

While some apps are free of cost some others can cost 0.99 cents and onwards. App Store currently offers around 7.5 lakh apps and industry experts say, over 35 billion apps have been downloaded from the app store since inception.

Both Google and Apple have seen revenues from mobile apps sale rising consistently. Apple has a lion's share in the revenues geenrated by paid mobile app, that is, almost two-third of the total app revenue worldwide. In comparison, Android based smartphones have gained half of the share in revenues from total sales globally.

According to industry experts Apple has paid $6 billion to developers selling their apps on the App Store.

Nope, I do not want to correct you. Coz its different based on user preferences.
What I say is about Majority of users...
Overall, Google's Android OS is much more robust and feature packed than Apple's.
