AOC, an established Taiwanese compute
display manufacturer, has launched a
new entry-level smartphone in India - th
AOC E40 - at Rs. 5,299.
The company officially tweeted about th
AOC E40 on Friday, but didn't include
any availability details for the
smartphone.
The dual-SIM (regular-SIM) AOC E40
runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat and features a
4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display.
The smartphone is powered by a dual-
core 1.2GHz processor (unspecified),
coupled with ARM Mali-400 GPU and
512MB of RAM.
The AOC E40 features 4GB of inbuilt
storage, which can be expanded via
microSD card (up to 32GB). It packs a 2
megapixel rear camera with LED flash
along with a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-
facing camera.
Connectivity features on the AOC E40
include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and FM
radio. The 1600mAh battery on E40 is
rated to deliver a talk time of up to 13
hours on 3G, and up to 15 hours on 2G.
The smartphone comes in two colours -
White and Black.
In December, the company had launche
the single-SIM AOC M601 with a 6-inch
qHD (540x960 pixels) IPS display.
Priced at Rs. 8,390, the AOC M601 runs
Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box, an

inbuilt storage expandable via microSD
card (up to 32GB); a 5-megapixel rear
