Amazon is gearing up to launch a newer version of the Fire TV Stick, which would potentially be called Fire TV Stick Lite. This would be the replacement for the standard Fire TV Stick. There is an extra button on the remote for the live TV. Amazon might be working with the broadcasters to bring live content to the streaming device. There are no volume and power buttons on the remote like the 4k variant. The pricing is expected to be competitive, keeping in mind that Google's new Android TV dongle (Code name Sabrina) will be launching next week around a 50-60$ price tag and we already have the MI Android box at a similar price range.

No volume & mute button in new fire stick lite( not launch yet)
There's a TV button though. It may be a way of integrating some TV functions through softwares. Or it could be LIve TV option. Lets see what happens.

Introducing Fire TV Stick Lite. Fire TV Stick Lite gives you the most processing power in any streaming media player under $30. It’s an amazing way to start streaming in full-HD with HDR, and it comes with Alexa Voice Remote Lite for quick access to the large selection of HD content available on Fire TV.

Fire TV Stick Lite will start shipping later this month for $29.99.
