Amazon had launched the Fire HD 10 tablet in September last year. Back then the tablet was available with a plastic body with white and black as the color options. Amazon has now announced that the Amazon Fire HD 10 is available in silver aluminium version as well. The aluminium model is available at the same price as its plastic counterpart, $229 (Rs 15,400 approximately). Right now there is no word on when the device will be available in India.
Amazon has also unveiled a 64GB storage option of the tablet, but it is only available with the aluminium model. The aluminium model costs $229 (Rs 15,400 approximately) with special offers and $244 (Rs 16,400 approximately) without offers. The 64GB variant with aluminium body costs $290, which is Rs 19,400 approximately.
Amazon Fire 10 specifications and features :
It features a 10.1-inch screen with (1,280 x 800) pixel resolution and 149ppi. The Amazon Fire 10 is powered by a quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The tablet is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of internal storage options, along with free unlimited cloud storage. A microSD card is available for further expansion of up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the device sports a 5-megapixel rear camera camera and a front-facing HD camera. The company claims that the Amazon Fire HD 10 is gives up to 8 hours of reading, surfing the web, watching video, and listening to music, and gets fully charged in 5 hours.
Connectivity options include 3.5 mm audio port, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The device runs Fire OS 5.
