If there is one problem with smartphones that persist until today, it would be their battery life. Granted things have gotten better in terms of battery capacity, as well as technology that can quickly recharge it, but safe to say that battery life these days is definitely not what feature phone users remember from back in the day.

That being said, Motorola might have an upcoming phone that could change all of that. Thanks to leaked specs posted by @krispitech (via The Verge), the alleged specs of the upcoming Moto M have been revealed, and it looks like we can expect pretty good battery life as its battery capacity is apparently of the 5,100mAh variety.

Now 5,100mAh is huge by itself, but of course hardware and software will also need to be optimized in order for its life to be maximized. According to the specs, it is expected to have a talk time of 78.69 hours, and a standby time of 768.61 hours, which is roughly a month if you don’t use it at all.

Other alleged specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset with 3GB/4GB of RAM (different models for different markets), up to 64GB of storage, and also support for microSD. It will also come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow preinstalled. No word on when the phone will be officially announced or if it will make its way stateside, but we’ll keep an eye out for it all the same.

Given the heating issues with Moto G4 plus, that's quite possible Sarkar bro.

If it has SD 625, it will run for atleast 3 days with normal usage straight with 5100mAh battery. Moto Z Play has 3500mAh and it gives an SOT of 8-9hrs with normal usage. Just think of what 5100 mAh battery will give. Also, there are no heating issues with this processor. Mostly heating is due to the processor used & it's optimizations & moto went wrong in that with G4.

This phone will allegedly have metallic unibody and the processor will be mediatek.

Leaked images show Microsoft apps pre installed on Moto M. The apps include Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Outlook, Skype and Word.

I think the leaks between Lenovo P2 and Moto M are getting mixed up. Lenovo P2 has SD625 processor, 5100mAH battery and Moto M has Mediatek P10 processor and 3000mAH battery

All future MOTO phones will carry these Microsoft apps. Hope these can be Uninstalled unlike Samsung which doesn't allow uninstalling these
