Ajinkya Rahane breaks into top 10 of ICC Test rankings for 1st time ..

Ajinkya Rahane entered top 10 in the
recent International Cricket Council
(ICC) rankings thereby remains India’s
current highest-ranked Test player.
The No. 10 spot is Rahane’s best
career-ranking so far in his Test
career. Meanwhile, Steven Smith, Kane
Williamson and AB de Villiers have
sealed the top 3 spots in the Test
rankings. The ICC said in a press
release, “Also heading in the right
direction are AB de Villiers and Hashim
Amla, who have gained one place
each. De Villiers is now third and 18
points behind No. 1 ranked Steve
Smith, while Amla is seventh after

Rahane last played in the whites when
India hosted South Afirca in a 4-match
Test series towards the end of 2015.
