As expected, Airtel gains top spot due to spectrum crunch to Jio and unwilling to Join in Jio network by Vi users, but Jio has a chance to regain after huge spectrum purchase in all bands. Still Airtel and Vi have huge spectrum in band3 (1800 Mhz) and band1 (2100 Mhz) to compete with Jio.

Yes Jio will become the largest holder of liberalised spectrum after the next auction for sure. Market situation will change after the tariff hikes and launch of the budget entry level Jio locked smartphone in Q1 FY 22.
