Bharti Airtel Limited, the third largest mobile services provider announced that starting today all its prepaid mobile customers nationally will be moved to more affordable per second bill plan. The rollout is under the new ‘Pay For What You Use’ initiative.
“Our customers are the reason for us to be in business, we therefore constantly introduce innovative initiatives with a commitment to deliver a world class experience to them. While we continue to invest aggressively in our network quality and deploy new sites to further enhance our robust & wide network presence, as yet another token measure of our commitment we are today taking the lead to move our customers to the affordable per second plans ensuring that they pay only for what they use,” said Ajai Puri, Director – Market Operations, Bharti Airtel.
Bharti Airtel has been driving its efforts to enhance customer experiences by delivering better service with rapid expansion for 2G, 3G & 4G services. Airtel says that a large majority of its prepaid customers were already on the per second billing plan and with this initiative, the company will ensure that all the prepaid mobile base is moved to the per second plan.
