Airtel introduced voice + SMS only plans after TRAI mandate; hikes value packs prices

I expect the existing value plans by operators to retain the same denominations and validity, just removing the bundled 2/6/24 GB data so they fulfill the voice and SMS only STV mandate.

Just like I predicted, value plans keep the same denominations and remove the data benefits. Airtel done, Jio and Vi to follow shortly.

Now I have lost data from 23 gb to 3 gb within 1 month on my 1999 pack due to Airtel's hungry, so TRAI gives great ideas to Telcos.

Telcos have just trolled TRAI and now TRAI is looking like a big baboon

Now there is one way for TRAI to troll back, by saying, "We are NOT reducing AGR dues penalties". But TRAI being TRAI, they will never do it for sure.
