HMD Global is a Finnish company that owns the rights to use Nokia ’s brand for mobile phones.

Under the latest handset bundling pact, the Nokia 2 and the Nokia 3 will be sold to Bharti Airtel customers for a cash down payment, on which the Sunil Mittal-led telco will give cashbacks over three years on condition that those opting for these 4G devices would need to recharge their devices with a minimum pack every month over the next three years.

The pact with HMD is Airtel’s sixth 4G device offer under its ongoing “Mera Pehla 4G smartphone” drive aimed at bringing affordable phone options to the market.
