Airtel has been on a roll lately. It has now extended its 4G services to Ludhiana. Ludhiana is the fifth city to get Airtel 4G services. Just like in some other cities, the telcom provider has teamed up with Apple and will be offering the 4G services for iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c users.
Users need to upgrade to a universal SIM or 4G SIM and Airtel has crafted several special plans and packs to choose from. The special packs include Rs 995 plan for mobile users and Rs 999 pack for postpaid mobile, dongle and CPEs. Both plans offer 10GB of 4G data for a month.
Apart from the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, Airtel 4G services can also be accessed on other handsets such as Xolo LT 900 and LG G2 (model D802T). Moreover, Airtel 4G dongles are also available for Rs 1,500 and the modem is priced at Rs 2,500. Users can take home a free 4G SIM on purchasing a dongle. Users who don’t want to buy a dongle or CPE can purchase the SIM card for Rs 49.
Recently, the company had launched 4G mobile broadband services in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula. Earlier this year, Airtel had launched 4G services in Bengaluru for the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c.
