For the Rs 148 pack which offers similar benefits, customers will be charged 10 paisa per minute on exceeding the daily 300 minutes limit. Earlier the telco was offering unlimited calling with no daily usage limit.
Bharti Airtel which offers Rs 145 and Rs 345 plans with unlimited voice calls and some amount of data will restrict the daily calling limit, however, it will allow users to choose the plan on per week limit as well.
The Rs. 145 plan will offer 1200 minutes of local and STD Airtel to Airtel voice calls for one week, and if the customers wish to opt the plan on daily limit basis, then the usage will be restricted to 300 minutes a day.
Another option that the telco is offering is that the customers who call 100 unique users in seven days will also be charged nominal rates, after exhausting the limit they’ll be charged 10 paisa per minute. The modification is similar with the Rs 345 plan as well.
As per sources, this was done just to avoid misuse rest of the T&C applies the same.
