this time angina, we can see in Gujrat, VLR for vi and jio is increased, but total subscriber count reduced from vi and increase for jio.

does jio still following practicing deactivating old number and showing net addition of only few lakhs again where gross additon is much higher.

Secondly MNP are rising rapidly, which means SIM consolidation is going in full swing and many subsciber are ditching/switing secondary sim card to other telco in their respective circle .

Yes, Jio is taking steps to improve its VLR figures and inturn boost it's ARPU as well. Yes the secondary sim consolidation will get accelerated further after another round of tariff hikes. And that is imminent coz legacy operators will not allow incoming only users to enjoy services in the absence of iuc revenue without regular minimum recharge.
