Airtel launched 3G services in India on January 2011, but their 3G tariffs were high compared to other network providers. Airtel started offering double data on select 3G data plans last September. Now they have completely revamped their 3G plans and added Smartbytes plans for post-paid customers.
Here is a comparison between the old and new Airtel 3G plans.
The Pay as you go plan has Rs.1000 Bill Shield on post-paid plans. The post-paid plans are pretty much the same as the pre-paid plans and the Bill Shield value is same as the old plan.
The recharge amount for the plans differ based on the region.
What do you think ? Are the new 3G plans affordable?
