Reliance Communications few days ago announced its new price cut for 3G data services, which brought it at par with current 2G data services. According to the new 3G data plan, users can access 3G services at Rs 124 for 1 GB which sounds quite similar to the plan by reliance that offers Rs 124 for 1 GB, Rs 246 for 2 GB and Rs 492 for 4 GB. Reliance is advertising the latest plan on its official website too but Airtel is yet to make any official announcement.
As expected, this move by Airtel is to counter the 3G offers by Reliance and give them a head-on competition. In the days to come, we are hopeful to see many such offers from other operators. Stay tuned !
