A bomb blast that killed over 80 people in Kabul on Wednesday (May 31) has led Afghanistan to call off friendly T20s against Pakistan. The Afghanistan Cricket Board confirmed the same via a strongly worded statement.
The bomb exploded in the diplomatic quarter in the vicinity of the German Embassy and the Afghan presidential palace in the morning.
"The ACB administration would like to offer its prayers and thoughts to the victims of today's attack in Kabul and pray for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attack," said the board in a statement. "By killing innocent and destitute people today, the enemies of Afghanistan's peace and stability showed that they are not worthy of friendship and will not change their stance against Afghans.
