This thread will be used for News, updates and Discussion about AFC Asian cup 2023. China will host Asian Cup 2023. The qualification for Asian cup is still going on. 13 teams including the Host China has already qualified for the group stage of tournament. India with another 23 countries has qualified for Third round of Asian cup qualification. After qualifying it, we will also qualify for GS of Asian cup.

The draw for 3rd round will happen after qualification play off will be over. #BlueTigers
Format of 3rd Round of Asian Cup-
The 24 countries are divided into 4 pots based on their FIFA rankings. We are in pot 1 for 'Now'. For qualification, all 24 teams will be divided into 6 groups with 4 countries in each group. Each group will contain 1 country from each pot. The winners and 5 best runner up will qualify for Asian Cup. The 3rd round is scheduled in February FIFA window.

They are on 150th rank.nd india was playing like we are playing qatar.
North Macedonia was 160 in 2017 nd now they are 60th place.

Joke of a management, joke of a coach! We are not even qualified for 2023 Asian Cup and Prafool Patel is selling us dream of FIFA 2026 World cup. I believe the players quality that we have is huge improvement over what we had in past. But that can not be said about the coach who is a useless fellow justifying a draw against Afghanistan. All we need is a better manager and you will see us in top 10 of Asia with the players we have.
