Adobe wants to make it easier for both amateurs and professionals to unleash their creativity without much restrictions on the device front. With cloud, users can now start editing on their Android smartphone and continue it on a desktop. Working towards an increasingly mobile world, Adobe today released its flagship Adobe Creative Cloud tools and services. It also announced its integrated stock content service. Adobe Stock makes 40 million photos, vector graphics and illustrations accessible directly within CC desktop apps.

The 2015 release of Creative Cloud includes major updates to Adobe’s desktop tools, including Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, Premiere Pro CC and InDesign CC. It also adds free mobile apps for iOS and Android users. Adobe also announced an expanded Creative Cloud for enterprises.

First introduced in 2012, Creative Cloud was meant to primarily include mobile devices with free apps working seamlessly with CC desktop tools. Adobe today released Brush CC, Shape CC, Color CC and Photoshop Mix on Android for the first time. It has also updated many of its popular Creative Cloud mobile apps for iPhone and iPad, including Adobe Comp CC, Photoshop Mix, Photoshop Sketch, Illustrator Draw, Brush CC, Shape CC and Color CC.

In addition to these updates Adobe debuted Adobe Hue CC today. Hue CC provides an easy way to capture and share production-quality lighting and color schemes — for video, film and broadcast — by using an iPhone camera and then applying these light and color moods into a Premiere Pro CC or After Effects CC project.

With Stock, Adobe Wants to Have Thinkstock's Lunch

Adobe of Tuesday announced the launch of Adobe Stock, a new service that aims to provide Creative Cloud customers and other users convenient access to stock images and photographs.

Boasting a catalog of over 40 million images, Adobe Stock will compete directly with the likes of Thinkstock - that also includes access to the catalog of Getty Images and iStock - and Shutterstock, in a market that Adobe estimates is worth over $3 billion (roughly Rs. 19,257 crores) per year. Adobe says 85 percent of the users of services like Thinkstock and Shutterstock customers are already Creative Cloud users, and it is hoping tight integration within apps like Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator will convince them to use Adobe Stock over competing services.
