Adam Griffith has been named
Australia's interim bowling coach,
Cricket Australia announced on Friday
(April 15). The 38-year-old will travel
with the squad to West Indies for the
triangular series involving the hosts
and South Africa.
Griffith played 50 first-class games for
Tasmania and took 169 wickets at an
average of 34.31. The former pacer
said he's looking forward to the
opportunity presented to him. "The
opportunity to work with Australia's
premium bowlers is incredibly
exciting," he gushed. "The West Indies
and South Africa have some of the
most destructive white ball batters in
the world and preparing to play them
in Caribbean conditions will be a great
challenge.
