Sideloading App in airtelxstream set top box

Is it possible to sideload apps in xstream set top box. I tried installing a hotstar mod app but seems like they have disabled installing from other sources. Any ways how can we enable it?

Yes, side loading is possible on Xstream STB

Did you enable "install from unknown sources" from settings??

But the Hotstar mod apk which is meant for phones would probably not work properly on TV

They have restricted "install from unknown sources" in settings.

There is seperate mod app for hotstar android tv
