FYI, JioStar owns 30% stake in TP. So this statement is funny.
Then what is the mean of removing Jiohotstar at IPL time. Currently they are even partnering with direct competitors like Airtel and Vi.
Walt Disney owns 30% stake not JioStar. Tata has majority ownership, so they not have to discuss everything with them

Yes my mistake its Disney that has 30% stake, but they are share holders in both Tata Play as well as JioStar. This is what i meant.

Don't blame Jio bro. Tata Play has a long history of blackmailing broadcasters by removing channels from packs. Now it is IPL time and Jio needs a lot of viewership to earn profit over IPL media rights, Tata Play is just taking advantage of the opportunity and pressurizing JioHotstar. As removal of hotstar will make bad impact on advertisers and Jio never want this.
Its Jio Check all other Apps like OTT Play , Times and others also removed from today due to High price asking by Jio Team :dodgy2:
